Many try to justify this lying response of Rahab to the inquiry by the searchers. You will waste your time trying to justify her lying. Rahab simply told a bold-face lie. Some say it was for a good cause, but we are not to do evil that good will come (Romans 3:8). We do not have to lie to help the cause of God.
